Axle Training provide a wide range of training & development programmes within our primary role as a Medical Skills training provider, the following courses are known, as Regulated, which means they are overseen by, an Awarding Body and Ofqual, which is the National independent qualifications regulator for England. They regulate qualifications, so they are sufficiently valid and trusted. They make clear and considered judgements for the benefit of those who study, and rely on, regulated qualifications.
The Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) has responsibility for the regulation of qualifications in Northern Ireland. Working independently from CCEA Awarding Organisation, CCEA Regulation is responsible for the accreditation and quality assurance of all qualifications offered in Northern Ireland, including GCSE, GCE and Professional and Technical (Vocational) qualifications. Our regulatory work also includes the recognition and monitoring of Awarding Organisations, ensuring that they have the capability to deliver the qualifications in their portfolio and that they meet our General Conditions of Recognition
The Qualifications and Credit Framework (RQF) is a new credit transfer system which has replaced the National Qualification Framework (QCF). It recognises qualifications and units by awarding credits. And since each unit has a credit value and the credits can be transferred, the system gives the learners the ability to get qualifications at their own pace. The RQF is jointly regulated by the England’s regulator Ofqual, Wales’ DCELLS and Northern Ireland’s CCEA.
